jimi
jimi is an incredibly talented player, singer and song writer. She does not need a band. She is an expert and creating loops with bass, drums and rhythm on the fly to support her using just her electric guitar. Jimi is the coolest and quickly growing a huge fan base for good reason! jimi's VRS is super lightweight with a Paulonwnia body, killer roasted birdseye Maple neck and Pao Ferro fingerboard. The bridge pickup is a Duncan JB jr and the middle and neck were made in house. She most frequently uses the neck pickup. The pickguard is made from tortoiseshell acrylic made in Canada.
jimi's three color sunburst VRT is also made from Paulownia and is feather light. She chose the cosmetics because of her love of SRV's famous stratocaster. She wanted an aged finish so this one has a nitrocellulose finish on the neck and body that has been aged including beautiful finish checking. The frets are medium jumbo and the fingerboard has a 10 to 12 inch compound radius. The pickups are noiiseless vintage voiced Dimarzio models. The hardware is Gotoh including the in-tune bridge. The n-Tune onboard tuner is activated with a push/pull volume control for convenient muted tuning in any situation. The single ply black pickguard has hand polished edges.
